Without the star power that Kimbo Slice and Gina Canaro bring, last night’s EliteXC showing on CBS did not do quite as well as their debut event - down 37%.  CBS drew approximately between 1.9 & 4 million viewers during the 9 to 11pm broadcast, peaking during the Robbie Lawler vs Scott Smith fight.

Facing stiff competition on multiple fronts, from Spike re-airing UFC 84: Ill Will and HBO Boxing presenting  Miguel Cotto vs Antonio Margarito - EliteXC will almost surely rebound in October when the aforementioned Gina Carano and Kimbo Slice are slated to step inside the octagon.
